A night of frocks and glitz
LIGHTS, camera, action – step aside Paris and Milan fashion weeks and meet the Australian coastal hub for independent boutiques.
Frocktails returns to cast a spell over the audience this Saturday from 6pm.
Opening with a bang, models from Reef Goddess fashion boutique will strut down a colourful lantern-lit runway, channelling the look of Victoria’s Secret models but with a voodoo magic twist.
Being its first Frocktails, Reef Goddess is also excited to bring new Townsville designer AASE to the event.
Lotus Boutique will reveal its brand new collection from Australian designer Honey and Beau – so exclusive the models haven’t even seen it yet
Court and Spark boutique returns with its edgy flair, featuring eclectic frocks to stylish casual wear.
Louise and Rose Wildy from Court and Spark encourage people to attend the premier fashion event.
“It’s a night for girls to ‘class it up’,” Rose said.
And, of course, Sarah Homberg from Divalicious Fascinators is bringing her new col- lection of elaborate fascinators that would look equally at home on international runways as they do in the Whitsundays
One of the penultimate events of the 2015 Whitsunday Reef Festival calendar, with swimwear to racewear to Elizabeth Taylor-esque kaftans from Airlywood, the evening will have it all.
General admission costs $65. The VIP $95 ticket gets you a table right next to the main stage and runway and includes tapas, dessert, selected drinks and table service. Book at www.thewacc.com.au.
