The 29-year-old was given conditions to report to a de- signated police station on July 8 but police prosecutor Elizabeth Smith told the court that he had failed to attend on July 10, 13, 15, 17, 20, 22 and 24.

McClements was located at 10.10am on Monday and arrested, before being brought before the court.

Duty lawyer Sherrie Meade said McClements “didn’t realise his conditions were to report more than once a week”.

He was fined $200.
