Wilmar parade excites

Whitsunday Times - - REEF FESTIVAL 2015 -

ELECTRONICS, crab pots and newspapers were just some of the eclectic range of materials local students used in this year’s Wilmar Sugar Wearable Art Parade.

St Catherine’s Catholic College Year 9 joint winner Eloise Male’s recycled fishing gear-inspired Castaway creation was one that caught the judges’ attention.

Parade organiser Pam Pole thanked St Catherine’s Cath- olic College, Collinsville State High School and Cannonvale State School for encouraging their students to enter into this year’s ever-popular event, and Wilmar Sugar for its sponsorship.
