Why, why, why?

Whitsunday Times - - WHITSUNDAY VIEWS -

(REGARDING Rogin Taylor’s letter, Whitsunday Coast Guardian, January 13): Remember the purchase of the Havengrand rural land wasting $2.5 million of ratepayers’ money?

Remember the wasted $10.5 million of flood damage funds from the 2010 National Disaster Relief Recovery Arrangements?

You would think that for all the years Rogin sat at that table as deputy mayor, he would have learnt something.

But instead, last week he questioned the integrity of our present most competent and honest council administration our region has ever seen.

He often authors Letters to the Editor, holds public meetings and protests to start the process for the re-instatement of friends to manage our council.

It is worth remembering that famous French phrase: “The more things change, the more they stay the same.”
