Taking off

Whitsunday Times - - WHITSUNDAY VIEWS -

AS A shareholder / ratepayer, I have watched our airport underperform for years.

Working with airline management consultant Beat Ritzmann 20 years ago I saw the possibilities the commercialisation of this community asset would provide.

It is with applause that now we may finally see our airport take off and provide not only passengers to enjoy our area and our best produce shipped off to high income markets but also the financial return that we ratepayer shareholders expect.

Now that there is a firm plan in place that ‘saves’ our airport, can those opposed stop your campaign of misinformation and let the majority get on with making our airport the success it should have been before now.
