PLANNING some DIY projects this Easter long weekend? Transform your home in just four days with the help of the team at Vogue Interiors, the experts in home projects.

Owner and manager of the business Tammy Quinlan said wallpaper was a quick and easy way to update the look of a room and your home.

“Feature walls are very popular and add a pop of colour or depth to the room,” she said.

“We have some gorgeous wallpapers that feature tranquil landscapes, murals and patterns that resemble a work of art.

“They’re great for making your own at-home escape or for jazzing up your children’s bedrooms.”

If you are a little nervous about using wallpaper, Ms Quinlan said Vogue Interiors could recommend local painters to help you with the wallpaper application.

“It’s literally so quick and easy, you really can get it done in one weekend,” she said.

If you’re looking to soften and separate some rooms, this can be done easily by selecting some curtain material and hanging it up straight away.

“Usually we take custom orders, so you will need to be prepared and do your research,” Ms Quinlan said.

Another way you can transform your home is by adding a rug to a room.

“Rugs are perfect for adding that extra bit of character to a room, they really pull everything together,” Ms Quinlan.

“Don’t be afraid to go for bold colours and materials.
