Credit to police

Whitsunday Times - - WHITSUNDAY VIEWS -

IN the early hours of Saturday, March 5, 2016, my family and I found our home being violated by a male person.

This situation was extremely unnerving and caused us serious safety concerns.

However what I would like to convey is the incredible response by Whitsunday Police.

I made the call at 12.59am and by 1.15am they had arrived at our address and told us that the perpetrator of this crime had already been arrested and on the way to the watchhouse. Their kindness, professionalism and empathy towards myself, partner and two grandsons was absolutely fantastic.

I won’t name these officers for privacy reasons, but they know who they are. On behalf of myself and family we thank you so very much for being there in a time of need you are not only a credit to the QPS but also to the community you serve.

Jack Edgar and Family,
