Eggstravaganza at Magnums

Whitsunday Times - - CHILL. -

THE long Easter weekend is upon us and there is lots going on at Magnums Hotel, Airlie Beach, throughout the four days.

On Thursday night, the fun is kicking off with DJs and competitions in the nightclub and there will be live music on the boardwalk from 4pm until late.

Then everyone can have a well-earned rest on Good Friday, when all licensed venues are closed, before ramping it up again on Saturday for the Magnums Annual Easter Undies Ball… the disco version.

Magnums Hotel manager Tony Boxell said he was really looking forward to the Easter long weekend, which was always so much fun at Magnums.

“The Magnums annual Easter Undies Ball is one party not to be missed,” he said.

“This year it is the disco ver- sion, hosted by the Party Warrior – we have dancers, models, decorations, bunny ear giveaways, prizes and lots more.”

Mr Boxell said the line-up of DJs was incredible with DJ Bliss, Jane Daffy, NEMØ and Truman.

On Sunday, the party continues in the nightclub with The Ministry of Sound Clubbers Guide to 2016 Tour, with DJs Kyro and A-Tonez and heaps of giveaways (see story overleaf ).

Monday will be a chilled recovery party with live music all day on the boardwalk.

There will also be a volleyball competition, with registration from 11am and the games starting at about noon.

A minimum four people per team is required.

“So grab your mates and come down and have a bit of fun playing volleyball on East- er Monday,” Mr Boxell said.

“You could win some cash and prizes. Talk to one of our friendly staff for more details about entering a team.”

What better way to spend your Easter long weekend than at Magnums Hotel – see the Magnums Hotel Facebook page for more information.
