Round two for touch

TOUCH FOOT­BALL: Our touch teams took on their se­cond round of the year on Mon­day night.

A-grade saw some close con­tests, with Wolves best­ing Ray White 4–2, Gro­godiles and Air­lie Mixed draw­ing even on 6–all, and Young Guns get­ting the bet­ter of Eclipse A 9–2.

In B grade, Great North­ern downed Amal­ga­mated 9–4, Heat­stroke stormed through Mis­chief Crew 8–5, and Eclipse B put paid to Hammo Rent 12–3.

Fi­nally, C grade had Heat­stroke overcoming Cruise Whit­sun­days 4–2, Un­touch­ables prov­ing just that against Heat­stroke II (8–5) and High Fly­ers soar­ing over Eclipse C for a mar­gin of 8–1.

Teams are ad­vised there will be no games on Mon­day due to the Easter long week­end.

Teams are also re­minded no points will be al­lo­cated un­til team fees are paid and teams are reg­is­tered. All teams must sup­ply a ref­eree when al­lo­cated.
