Driv­ing with drugs

LACH­LAN Neil Mclean, 41, of Blooms­bury, was fined $1000 af­ter be­ing caught drug-driv­ing and pos­sess­ing il­licit drugs. On Jan­uary 22 at 6.48pm, police pulled over Mclean on the Bruce Hwy, Blooms­bury, where he ad­mit­ted to tak­ing il­licit drugs within the last 48 hours.

Af­ter be­ing asked if he had any­thing in his pock­ets, Mclean re­vealed a clip-seal bag con­tain­ing 0.1g of ice and another con­tain­ing 1.1g of mar­i­juana. Plead­ing guilty, Mclean was also dis­qual­i­fied from driv­ing for two months.

Police in­ter­viewed the co-of­fender who McBain was liv­ing with at the time, who said he re­trieved the pre­scrip­tion book from the doc­tor’s car while he was ser­vic­ing it and gave it to McBain.

Jack­son was also fined $1000.

left one Card­well man $250 out of pocket. The court heard how on March 3, Michael Leigh Goodrick, 60, was driv­ing on Ju­bilee Pocket Rd about 12.55pm when police pulled him over and dis­cov­ered he was un­li­censed.

Goodrick had been dis­qual­i­fied from driv­ing for one month and had not yet re­newed his li­cence.

Howard, 35, was driv­ing on Myer Lasky Dr when he was pulled over by police and gave a read­ing of 0.135. Howard was granted a work li­cence.
