Driving with drugs
LACHLAN Neil Mclean, 41, of Bloomsbury, was fined $1000 after being caught drug-driving and possessing illicit drugs. On January 22 at 6.48pm, police pulled over Mclean on the Bruce Hwy, Bloomsbury, where he admitted to taking illicit drugs within the last 48 hours.
After being asked if he had anything in his pockets, Mclean revealed a clip-seal bag containing 0.1g of ice and another containing 1.1g of marijuana. Pleading guilty, Mclean was also disqualified from driving for two months.
Police interviewed the co-offender who McBain was living with at the time, who said he retrieved the prescription book from the doctor’s car while he was servicing it and gave it to McBain.
Jackson was also fined $1000.
left one Cardwell man $250 out of pocket. The court heard how on March 3, Michael Leigh Goodrick, 60, was driving on Jubilee Pocket Rd about 12.55pm when police pulled him over and discovered he was unlicensed.
Goodrick had been disqualified from driving for one month and had not yet renewed his licence.
Howard, 35, was driving on Myer Lasky Dr when he was pulled over by police and gave a reading of 0.135. Howard was granted a work licence.
