Hopping for Easter joy
Kids get to meet their bunny icon
DON’T be surprised if you see a group of excited kids hopping around at the Reef Gateway Hotel.
Consistent with tradition, kids will get the chance to participate in Easter egg hunts out in the courtyard and take part in a range of festive games and dancing and festive activities.
There will be photo opportunities available for parents to capture their kids hopping with joy while feasting on copious amounts of chocolate.
Adults will also get their fair share of the fun, with the bunny to appear in the public bar for a “muckaround”.
Reef Gateway marketing manager Mark Wilkins said the Easter bunny’s trip was all about fostering festive joy.
“It’s been a bit of a tradition over the years to have the Easter bunny come to the Reef gateway over the years,” he said.
“It will be similar to when we brought Santa Claus in during Christmas time, so many people enjoyed the getting their picture taken with Santa and receiving gifts and it will be very similar to that.”
Kids at Little Angel Zoo over the weekend could also be lucky enough to catch a glimpse, with the bunny expected to make periodic visits.
The Easter Bunny will make the venue his home on March 31 and April 7 from 6pm, leading to Easter Sunday.
For parents looking to treat their kids with a pre-Easter chocolate delight, the Reef Gateway is the place to be.
