Aries

The alignment of Mars and Pluto will bring your inner warrior out, helping you take great strides ahead, especially in your career and social life. Circumstances may also ask that you become more proactive and dynamic. Avoid a fiery temper, and keep your inner critic to yourself, as this could do harm – not least to yourself. You’ll find out whether an idea or project is viable.

Leo

This is your week to get super-busy and to meet your goals head-on. When Mars and Pluto align, this is your time to shine. Developments will concentrate in the areas of work, health, sports and wellbeing. However, it’s vital you back up your good intentions with care and attention to health, finances and to building your energy reserves. Manage these well, and you could excel.

Sagittarius

You’ll appreciate the sense that your plans, aims and goals are coming together and, even if you don’t attain a particular goal, you’ll see that your hard work is heading in the right direction. A family or domestic development may take you into fresh territory, but with a sensitive approach to those you are with, you could excel. A sports or work project should flourish.

Taurus

You may revisit a circumstance, but this time you’ll have the benefit of hindsight, enabling you to approach the matter with a more philosophical outlook. As you head towards the end of the week, a good outcome to key developments is likely, as long as you avoid impulsiveness and are motivated by your true feelings. Avoid playing second fiddle; let your light shine.

Virgo

A healing or health-orientated atmosphere will permeate your home and domestic circumstances this week. You may find that revisiting a relationship brings out bitter-sweet memories or, conversely, that you are able to overcome sentimentality. A lovely change of tempo will include the chance to refuel energy levels. Avoid power struggles, as these will lead nowhere fast.

Capricorn

Aim for your goals and try to get new ideas implemented before Thursday, when Saturn, your sign’s ruler, will turn retrograde until the end of August. You could make major headway at work, with sports interests and health matters. But this will depend on your ability to structure your schedule well and to show a compassionate approach to friends and family.

Gemini

This may be a ‘hard-work’ week but it will be worth the effort. The more energy you put into ventures, the better the outcome. Avoid taking an adversarial approach, or you could make an enemy. If you focus, instead, on making solid, practical progress with people you interact with, you could scale mountains. Avoid overt self-criticism, and help people who need an ego boost.

Libra

A change of pace will affect principally your home life or domestic relationships. It’s time to leave some parameters behind and venture into new circumstances, and at least to begin to see someone in a new light. Certain relationship will blossom; others may be more difficult. Approach the latter sensitively. Avoid misunderstandings and traffic delays by planning ahead.

Aquarius

You’ll make great progress with a group, friend or organisation this week, and incorporating teamwork in your efforts will prove rewarding. This is also a good week to make progress at home, with family and at work, especially if you work from home. For some mid-February Aquarians, a trip could be transformational. Avoid overspending and being too hard on yourself.

Cancer

You’ll enjoy getting together with like-minded people, and the sense that you are getting ahead with your favourite projects. However, a little compromise, meeting people halfway and networking may be necessary to avoid hard feelings or the sense that you are missing out in some way. A change of location or a development in a relationship could be part of a bigger change.

Scorpio

You’ll appreciate the sense that you can get ahead with your plans this week in a methodical and practical way. Work and group ventures, especially, can progress now. A particular relationship will also feel more passionate or enlivened by the Mars-Pluto alignment towards the end of the week. Avoid taking random comments personally and overspending.

Pisces

Ventures with organisations and friends should go well this week, and you may also achieve a sense of accomplishment at work or financially. A highlight of the week will be a trip, news or information that can boost your status or feel-good factor. You may revisit an old haunt. Avoid taking developments that don’t go perfectly personally; you’ll get another bite at the cherry.
