All courts back blaz­ing

TENNIS: The courts were a hive of ac­tiv­ity on Easter Mon­day with all courts hired out.

Wed­nes­day af­ter­noon saw the Bronze squad take to the courts fol­lowed by the Sil­ver squad who were out to im­press.

Nate Porter and Cody Collins im­pressed for Bronze while in the Sil­ver squad Ri­ley O’Grady and Tate But­ler were in form.

Ear­lier in the week Tues­day af­ter­noon so­cial tennis saw Ch­eryl West and Tr­ish Rouse take on the boys John West and Keith Miles. A big wel­come to Tra­cie Bland who mixed in with squad mem­bers for an ex­cit­ing game of “lick­ety split one rac­quet a team tennis”.

The young­sters in Fri­day Brekky group were out and about and ex­cited to be back on court.

A spe­cial event this week was the throw­ing and catch­ing of real eggs to prac­tice soft hands.

Thurs­day night so­cial tennis was back.

Un­for­tu­nately Fit, fun tennis was washed out last week but it will be back Fri­day at 9am.

Coach­ing pupil of the week was Kylie Spees for her ral­ly­ing skills.
