Busy week as play­ers bounce back

TEN­NIS: Ten­nis Whit­sun­day’s early evening Tues­day ten­nis started the week off with a fit­ness ses­sion.

Tues­day night so­cial ten­nis took to the courts for an en­thu­si­as­tic evening of mixed and men’s dou­bles.

Wed­nes­day evening the Bronze and Sil­ver squads played a fun game ten­nis.

There were lots of ins and outs fol­lowed by ri­otous ral­lies.

Kobi Fuller and Sony Bur­rell in the Bronze squad and Max and Rob­bie Vrind in the Sil­ver squad kept the games rolling.

Thurs­day’s rain didn’t stop Tate But­ler and Ri­ley O’Grady from hon­ing their foot­work.

Fri­day morn­ing brekky group did them­selves proud with plenty of touch ral­lies and strong work from Emma Hin­ton and Holly Per­rin.

On Satur­day morn­ing the Early Bird ladies played their weekly dou­bles.

Just Do It ju­nior so­cial ten­nis had a “hit around”.

This group is look­ing for more par­ents and chil­dren to join in for a hit and morn­ing tea.

It was fol­lowed by Satur­day so­cial ten­nis.

Coach­ing pupil of the week was Josh Ek­ert for a ster­ling ef­fort in his les­son on Fri­day, tak­ing part in a su­perb lengthy rally.
