Whitsunday Times - - NEWS -

WHITSUNDAY COAST CHAMBER OF COMMERCE well as a lack of manpower and accommodation options to house the extra trades.

A reminder, appointments are still available today and Friday with QRRA officers to discuss available grants.

Phone 3029 2265 to book an appointment. We also need to feed information and ideas back to council and State Government to help get the ball rolling again.

The chamber is hosting a member evening today at 5.30pm at Sorrento to discuss issues and gather data on financial impacts post-cyclone.

Councillors Jan Clifford and Ron Petterson will be attending with complimentary finger food and a welcome drink for members, so please make the time to attend the function and tell us your story.

Invitations to renew chamber membership have been sent.

Now, more than ever, it is crucial that we have a strong representative body for small business in the Whitsundays to help get through the tough times ahead as well as take best advantage of the opportunities that will present over the next few years.

The future is exciting and very positive for the region.

The trick will be getting there as quickly as we can.
