Satur­day su­per busy as play­ers en­joy their ral­lies

TEN­NIS: Satur­day, as al­ways, was one of Ten­nis Whit­sun­day’s busy days.

First on court were the Early Bird Ladies.

This week it was Sam, Yoko, Denise and Pam. Then the young­sters of Just Do It ju­nior so­cial ten­nis took to the court at 9.30am. This week Karl and DJ had a hit with Kane and Jett and their mum Tracy. This group is keen for some more ju­niors and par­ents. In the af­ter­noon ‘Satur­day arvo’ ten­nis took to the courts.

Ear­lier in the week, Tues­day af­ter­noon so­cial saw Cheryl West and Rex Robin­son play mixed dou­bles against Tr­ish Rouse and John West. In Tues­day early evening ten­nis, three courts were in ac­tion. Amy Hunger­ford and Chris Rai­teri were a force. In Tues­day evening ten­nis Norm Hold and Anna Now­icki played Tad Now­icki and Bren­don An­netts.

Thurs­day evening so­cial ten­nis had a sur­prise visit from Ja­cob Wil­son who played Tad Now­icki in a game of sin­gles with dou­bles on the ad­join­ing court.

Fri­day morn­ing Mon­ica and Ash­leigh did the girls proud in Fit, Fun ten­nis.

Coach­ing pupils of the week were girls Sam Hin­ton and Tanja Brug­mann for some in­tense ral­ly­ing.
