OUT in force for Road Safety Week, Air­lie Beach po­lice con­ducted more than 600 ran­dom breath tests, is­sued 21 fines for not wear­ing seat belts, mo­bile phones us­age while driv­ing and fail­ure to halt at stop signs. A drink-driv­ing 20-year-old male P-Plater from Ju­bilee Pocket was stopped on Satur­day around 8.30pm on Shute Har­bour Rd who blew a read­ing of .065. A 45-year-old Proser­pine man tested pos­i­tive for drugs af­ter be­ing caught driv­ing on Coral Es­planade in Can­non­vale.
