Dibben and Fox win Prossie Stable­ford

Forty-four play­ers turned out for Satur­day’s 4BBB stable­ford, which pro­duced some good re­sults.

Win­ners on the day were Mick Dibben and Peter Fox with 49 points, on a count back from fa­ther and son com­bi­na­tion Levi and Nathan Holmes.

In third place was ju­nior mem­ber Kaylem Douth­waite and Jake Nurse, and Di Dob­bins and Marlene Gray on 48 points.

On 46 points were Chris Weigand and Trevor Paroz.

On 44 were Kelvin Stephens and Troy Dob­bins, fol­lowed by Beryl Miller and Tessa Aitken, and Vicki and Lew Tuck, 43.

Com­plet­ing the run down were Andy Pear­son and Bruce Fielder on 42.

The pin shots went to Lew Tuck on two, John Dodds and Mandy Pat­ter­son on nine, Lyn Muller 13, and Mick Dibben on 16.

Only 31 turned up on Thurs­day for the men’s stable­ford, ow­ing to the vet­er­ans trav­el­ling to Pi­o­neer Val­ley for the Crocker Shield.

Win­ner on the day was James Dev­ery with 42 points.

Run­ner up was Mick Bur­rows who edged out Al­bert Pini on a count back, both on 39 points.

Oth­ers in the run down were Ja­son Bartz and Roger Van­den­berg, 38, Mark Schu­bert and Les Brad­ford 36, Jim Cochran 35 and The­u­nis Ven­ter 34.

The pin shots went to John Grosskreutz on two, Al­bert Pini got a break to take 13 and Wayne Fitzgerld was on 16.
