Dibben and Fox win Prossie Stableford
Forty-four players turned out for Saturday’s 4BBB stableford, which produced some good results.
Winners on the day were Mick Dibben and Peter Fox with 49 points, on a count back from father and son combination Levi and Nathan Holmes.
In third place was junior member Kaylem Douthwaite and Jake Nurse, and Di Dobbins and Marlene Gray on 48 points.
On 46 points were Chris Weigand and Trevor Paroz.
On 44 were Kelvin Stephens and Troy Dobbins, followed by Beryl Miller and Tessa Aitken, and Vicki and Lew Tuck, 43.
Completing the run down were Andy Pearson and Bruce Fielder on 42.
The pin shots went to Lew Tuck on two, John Dodds and Mandy Patterson on nine, Lyn Muller 13, and Mick Dibben on 16.
Only 31 turned up on Thursday for the men’s stableford, owing to the veterans travelling to Pioneer Valley for the Crocker Shield.
Winner on the day was James Devery with 42 points.
Runner up was Mick Burrows who edged out Albert Pini on a count back, both on 39 points.
Others in the run down were Jason Bartz and Roger Vandenberg, 38, Mark Schubert and Les Bradford 36, Jim Cochran 35 and Theunis Venter 34.
The pin shots went to John Grosskreutz on two, Albert Pini got a break to take 13 and Wayne Fitzgerld was on 16.
