“You don’t have to travel far, you just have to keep your eyes open.

“All these birds were pho­tographed within five minutes of town,” said the founder of the Bowen and Whit­sun­day Pho­tog­ra­phy Group on Face­book.

“The other day I spot­ted 26 emus in one pad­dock; we’re just so lucky.”
