A JUBILEE Pocket man put his car on the market to avoid the temptation to drive unlicensed. Richard Shane Wilcoxson, 28, pleaded guilty to driving without a licence while affected by drugs.
He was pulled over on August 17 at 9.56am on Sanctuary Ave in Jubilee Pocket, where a saliva test later revealed he had marijuana and methamphetamine in his system.
Defence lawyer Elizabeth Smith submitted a screen shot showing that Wilcoxson put his car up for sale to avoid future issues. Wilcoxson was disqualified for two years and three months and fined $1500.
