Stop pointing fingers
PARLIAMENTARIANS must stop blaming and finger-pointing for the horrors at the Manus Island prison.
Such behaviour does not solve anything; it merely entrenches intransigence and destroys whatever faith some still have in our government.
Each one of the 600 is a human being that we’ve incarcerated far too long.
Our “duty-of-care” morphed into “dereliction-of-care’ beginning years ago with mandatory detention and TPVs.
I challenge each voter to contact your member, your senators, and the PM and tell them unequivocally – find your moral compass and bring these 600 men to Australia.
