Work licence rejected
IT MAY have been a low range “morning-after reading”, but it was still enough to deny a Jubilee Pocket motorist access to a restricted work licence.
Craig Clark Manners, 44, pleaded guilty to low range drink driving at 9.10am on October 24 on Shute Harbour Rd at Shute Harbour. Manners recorded a reading of 0.066 and told officers he drank about 10 cans of beer the previous night.
He was unable to convince the court that he met the hardship criteria to qualify for a restricted licence. Manners was disqualified from driving for one month and fined $350.
