The men’s competition was won by Mick Kavanagh with nett 71, from second place getter Chris Brett with 73.

Others in the run down were Lewis Tuck 74, Russell Brauer and Jake Nurse 75, Theunis Venter and Jim Dowell 76, Vic Feldman 77 and Ben Harrison, Gary Scotford and John Roser 78.

The pin shots went to Mark Richards on two, Mick Kavanagh, five and Bruce Fielder 18.

The ladies’ winner was Elspeth Scotford with 80 nett, from Toni Clauss on 88.

Two place getters were Marlene Gray and Pauline Redpath.

With the course totally submerged last week and more wet weather expected off the back of ex-Tropical Cyclone Iris, next week’s games will be totally dependent on the weather.
