Transition days preparing and building confidence

SCHOOL’S extensive transition program allows primary school students to enter secondary schooling with confidence.
Year 6 students from surrounding schools attended their first transition day earlier in the year. The event provided a great introduction to secondary school for these students.
Our series of transition transition program is assisting our students as they enter their senior phase of learning (Year 10).
Career planning, pathways and personal goal setting in the junior school assists the success of our students at this crucial stage of a young person’s life.
A successful Year 9 subject selection evening was held recently with students and their parents attending an information evening and having the opportunity to speak to experienced curriculum leaders and teachers.
The school will soon hold its first ‘Success into Senior’ day.
Year 9 students and their parents will be involved in personal interviews to discuss their subjects for Year 10 and prepare them for the move to senior school.
