Is Brangelina making a comeback?
THEY AREN’T FINISHED ... yet. Nearly a year since Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from husband Brad Pitt, the paperwork appears to have stalled. “The divorce is off,” a source told Us Weekly. “They haven’t done anything to move it forward in several months and no-one thinks they are ever going to.”
Indeed, tensions between the pair, who have six children, appear to have cooled since their September split. In May, Pitt, 53, conceded he had been “boozing too much” in 2016, and the source says Jolie, 42, regrets running a “smear campaign” against Pitt, who was investigated and cleared by the FBI over alleged physical abuse against son Maddox, 16, on a private plane in the days before the couple split. (As part of their shared custody arrangement, Pitt agreed to undergo individual therapy sessions and random drug-and-alcohol testing.)
Pitt “got sober to try to win her back,” said the source. “He knew he had a problem that he had to take care of. That’s all she ever wanted.”
Still, don’t expect to see Pitt move into his ex’s new $32 million Los Angeles digs just yet. The couple “are taking a breather and seeing what happens,” an insider told E! Online. “Things can change quickly but they aren’t pursuing the divorce at this time.” Adds the source: “A lot has changed since Angelina filed ... They don’t take divorce lightly and want to make sure they are doing the right thing.”
Jolie in Cambodia on Feb. 18. Her relationship with Pitt is “up in the air,” says a source.
Jolie took twins Knox and Vivienne to Disneyland for their 9th birthday on July 12.
