Before I Fall’s Deutsch co-stars with Glen Powell as Harper and Charlie, a pair of harassed assistants driven to the wall by their respective workaholic bosses (Lucy Liu and Taye Diggs). Desperation results in innovation and the young pair decide to matchmake their overlords, hoping that if they have love in their lives, they will demand less of their juniors. From organising the meet, to playing Cyrano to their romantically clueless bosses, Harper and Charlie spend a lot of time together. Can you see where this will end? As Netflix originals go, Set It Up is a cut above; a smooth, easy-to-watch rom-com that plays skilfully to the formula. More like this please— rack them up. (On Netflix from June 15)
