The model and TV personality shares her beauty tips for the Spring Racing season
Do you love getting all glammed up for the Spring Racing Carnival? I definitely love the glam process of the races. It’s an event that allows you to go a little outside the box in styling and go for options you wouldn’t usually.
Is it a fun day out with your husband, Jake?
I do love a day out at the races and getting all glammed up, however I must admit that I do prefer being in my jeans at home with Jake and our fur babies, Millie and Coco.
Do you have a sneaky bet?
Dad always gives me a tip in the morning, and I always bet on that. It’s become tradition for us! What are your tips for race-day beauty? I quite like a natural makeup, I always go for dewy skin. I also never do both a bold eye and lip. It’s kind of one or the other. A gorgeous smile is also important; it’s an essential of any look—like a little black dress, a fundamental you can’t go without. My go-to for this is Colgate Optic White High Impact White Toothpaste.
How do you get your makeup to last on such a long day?
It’s definitely difficult. I think it’s important to have a great base under your makeup. This comes from preparing skin and having a glowing tan as a foundation. I also try to keep my makeup minimal so it doesn’t slide too much throughout the day.
How do you perfect your smile for the cameras?
My rule for a camera-ready smile is bright white teeth.
Your fave beauty treatment?
Every two months I’ll get a professional Dermasweep treatment, and I get a professional facial every now and then to keep my skin really clear and glowing. I love a good steam and squeeze!
