NONIE

WHO - - Beauty -

“I love styling hair where I use or enhance the natural texture and shape. Not only does it last longer but it feels more at home and natural. The vibe behind this show was all about that feel.”

STEP 1

Think Jane Birkin. It’s a soft blow-dry with a lived-in shape.

STEP 2

We rough-dried hair using Tresemmé Protect & Repair 7 Pre-styling Spray to protect hair and remove flyaways. While hair was hot we tucked the hair behind the ears to cool. This also adds body.

MIMIC THE MODEL STEP 3

To create a cool, playful edge we plaited small plaits randomly through the hair and threaded the bottom of each plait with two or three wooden beads in a contrasting colour. Once hair has cooled, take hair from behind the ears. “I love the playfulness of the plaits, but also the fact that anyone can do this style. What really makes this fun is the beads are just from an art store, which makes this style so accessible.”

The models for Nonie walked with pretty placed plaits. EMMA ROBERTS
