Change au­dio for­mat

Some­times, in­com­pat­i­ble driv­ers or third-party au­dio soft­ware can af­fect play­back, so check if an au­dio for­mat is the source of your is­sue. In the Sound Con­trol panel, se­lect Play­back, right-click the De­fault De­vice and choose Prop­er­ties. Se­lect Ad­vanced and un­der De­fault For­mat, change the set­ting, then re-test your au­dio. If that doesn’t work, try an­other for­mat.
