PCIe (PCI-Ex­press) An in­ter­face ex­pan­sion slot found in­side most desk­top PCs. This is de­signed to house pe­riph­er­als in­clud­ing graph­ics cards, ex­pan­sion ports (such as USB) and network adap­tors.

UUID Uni­ver­sally Unique Iden­ti­fier. A 128-bit num­ber used to uniquely iden­tify an ob­ject. In Vir­tu­alBox, UUIDs are as­signed to vir­tual drives to sep­a­rate them from each other.
