Red Wiggle workout! Stress busters, Crystals

Woman’s Day (Australia) - - Contents -

After 20 years competing and coaching in elite gymnastics, fitness trainer Lauren Hannaford moved into children’s entertainment as a dancer – but it wasn’t exactly what she imagined.

“When I joined The Wiggles I was thrown into the hectic touring life,” says Lauren. “Sometimes the only place to work out was alongside the tour bus in car parks!”

Lauren was inspired to create a six-week online fitness program (www.laurenhannaford. that requires no equipment. Based on four 15-minute workouts, the workout has been designed to help you easily tone up from head-to-toe.

Here, Lauren and her husband Simon Pryce, aka the Red Wiggle, run through the moves exclusively for Woman’s Day.

Exercise 3 Tunnel push-up Target Shoulders & triceps

Start in a downward dog position. If that’s too hard, put your knees on the ground.

Bring your weight to your knees and make sure your shoulders are in line with your wrists.

Bend down and do a push-up. Get your forehead as close to the ground as possible and push back up.

This is one rep. Aim to complete three sets of 10 reps.
