1 De­velop a so­lu­tion-fo­cused at­ti­tude and be­lief sys­tem that can then drive so­lu­tion-fo­cused be­hav­iour and ac­tions – some­times this means hav­ing a few ses­sions with a psy­chol­o­gist to “get your head right”.

2 Re­lax­ation strate­gies such as deep breath­ing, smil­ing, med­i­ta­tion and walk­ing mind­fully and notic­ing what is around you can dis­tract you from the up­set­ting thoughts.

3 Reach out to oth­ers to help you re­solve the is­sue that you have be­come an­gered about – es­pe­cially to peo­ple you feel deal well with what for you is nor­mally a stress­ful, of­ten anger­pro­vok­ing sit­u­a­tion.
