Weekly AGL Women of the Fu­ture win­ner’s lunch at Quay restau­rant in Syd­ney was to be the most talked about event of the year. Cel­e­brat­ing three ex­cep­tional young women who re­ceived more than $70,000 each in cash and prizes, thanks to AGL, to fur­ther their projects, the event fea­tured a lively panel dis­cus­sion on gen­der, fe­male fu­tures and pol­i­tics. Julie Bishop’s key­note ad­dress on sex­ism and bul­ly­ing in pol­i­tics was a high­light, and widely re­ported on for days af­ter.
