CRAIG’S COMEDY BOMB

Woman’s Day (Australia) - - Celebrity News -

Jason’s not the only former Neighbours star whose attempt at comedy has backfired. In 2005, Craig Mclachlan – who played Henry Ramsay on the soap for two years in the ’80s – performed a three-minute stand-up routine on TV’S The Footy Show. He was so woeful the audience chanted “Get him off!” before he’d even finished. Low points included a lewd “gag” about Harold Bishop having sex with Bouncer the dog and a racially insensitive rendition of his hit song Mona. Earlier this year, the Dr Blake Mysteries star was accused of sexual misconduct, which he has denied, while performing in The Rocky Horror Show in 2014.

The actor’s stand-up routine was a fizzer.
