Teel­ing Dis­tillery founder’s tips to en­joy whiskey be­yond the glass

1 Add 1 tbsp whiskey to your favourite choco­late cake recipe. Top with chopped toasted wal­nuts, vanilla ice-cream and a driz­zle of but­ter­scotch sauce infused with a touch of whiskey for the ul­ti­mate in­dul­gence. 2 Pan-fry a sal­mon fil­let un­til lightly brown. Add ½ cup whiskey and care­fully light pan with a long match to ig­nite the but­tery flavours. 3 In a saucepan, com­bine 40ml of Teel­ing Small Batch Ir­ish Whiskey with crum­bled streaky ba­con and maple syrup, then driz­zle over a stack of pan­cakes. 4 Add 2 tbsp whiskey to a mix­ture of heavy cream, dark choco­late pieces, chopped hazel­nuts and vanilla ex­tract. Re­frig­er­ate for an hour, then roll into bite­size balls of choco­late whiskey bliss.
