Teeling Distillery founder’s tips to enjoy whiskey beyond the glass
1 Add 1 tbsp whiskey to your favourite chocolate cake recipe. Top with chopped toasted walnuts, vanilla ice-cream and a drizzle of butterscotch sauce infused with a touch of whiskey for the ultimate indulgence. 2 Pan-fry a salmon fillet until lightly brown. Add ½ cup whiskey and carefully light pan with a long match to ignite the buttery flavours. 3 In a saucepan, combine 40ml of Teeling Small Batch Irish Whiskey with crumbled streaky bacon and maple syrup, then drizzle over a stack of pancakes. 4 Add 2 tbsp whiskey to a mixture of heavy cream, dark chocolate pieces, chopped hazelnuts and vanilla extract. Refrigerate for an hour, then roll into bitesize balls of chocolate whiskey bliss.
