“Aim to do car­dio three to four times a week. If you do three strength ses­sions a week, then only do three car­dio ses­sions; you need one rest day ev­ery seven days. If you do two strength ses­sions a week, you can do four car­dio work­outs. Car­dio ses­sions can be as long as you have time for – what’s important (as with the strength ses­sions) is that you actually do them!”
