Tourism data workshop for Yarrawonga
Murray Regional Tourism (MRT) in conjunction with Visit Victoria will be hosting three free Australian Tourism Data Warehouse (ATDW) workshops in the Murray Region, including one in Yarrawonga on Thursday, June 1.
Murray Regional Tourism CEO Mark Francis said having an ATDW listing exposed a business to millions of potential customers each year and attending the free training was a must for any tourism business.
“MRT strongly advocates businesses and events in tourism securing an ATDW listing,” he said.
“With distribution of your business’ information through ATDW to over 100 different national, state, regional and local websites, and the ability for you to self-manage how your business is represented, the ATDW is an essential marketing tool.
“To give an example, www.visitvictoria.com received over 8 million visits and 25.8 million page views from consumers over the last 12 months, which is over 660,000 visitors per month.
“Also www.visitnsw.com received over 7 million visits from consumers over the last 12 months. Imagine exposing your business to that many potential customers.”
Murray Regional Tourism is offering one lucky business a free 12 month listing on the Australian Tourism Data Warehouse, plus a Murray prize pack if they create or renew an ATDW business listing before Friday, June 23.
