The Stayers 3/9/163 defeated Sparks 1/6/155. Rocky and Cam had a great game, with this one being decided in 4 sets. Rocky got the early game, before Cam settled and took the next 3 games convincingly.
Nick Soutter and Jamie Martin also had a terrific game. This one went the whole way, being decided in 5 sets. Nick got the first two games, before Jamie found some rhythm winning the next three games.
Damon Kaine was no match for the inform Josh Soutter, with Josh easily getting the points in 3. Cubs 3/10/245 defeated Kittens 1/8/255. Although Kittens got more points, the Cubs had them this week in games. Kittens cannot shrug their name off it seems, going down again.
Anthony Hammon and Tim Smith had another epic duel, this one coming down the last tightly contested game. Anthony got the points tonight winning in 5.
Rocky Leith and Fletcher Swann were up next and although Rocky dropped the third set, managed to cover Fletcher’s game, winning in 4.
Lorraine Wallace and Nathan Blick could have had game of the night, with this game also going to 5. Lorraine and Nathan took turns in winning games it seemed, before Lorraine got the last game to win for the Cubs.
Frank Martin and Annie Martin had a good old brotherly and sisterly rivalry on court tonight. Frank got the first, before Annie sharpened up to win the next two. Frank was not done with, winning the fourth in a tie-breaker, to send this game to a fifth and final.
Annie and Frank both fought very hard, with Annie managing to beat her younger brother in the fifth 15-13.
Triple S 3/11/181 defeated 1/3/128.
Jeff Russell and Vicki Martin also played out an epic 5 setter tonight. Long deep lobs followed by short game almost got Vicki the win; however, Jeff found something in the last set of the five, to win 15-6.
Rowan Kaine had his colours lowered tonight at the hands of Nick Purtle, who claimed victory in 3 sets.
Sheryl McBurnie took to the court this week to play Kyle Hicking. Kyle had all the shots working on the night, easily accounting for Sheryl in 3.
Xander Smith, who is showing huge improvements as the competition continues, took on Connor Phibbs. Connor showed great endurance running around the court to cover Xander, and won the game in 3. Stretchers
