Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Yarrawonga is a 65 place centre located in a residential area close to schools and shops as well as community facilities.

Caring for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years, the centre runs four rooms, catering to different age ranges, each with individual plans and flexible routines specifically designed for the children in the room.

Goodstart Yarrawonga has a funded Kindergarten Program that runs 5 days per week, run by their very own Early Childhood Teacher. Furthermore, there are a number of qualified educators in the centre and several currently studying to further their qualifications.

The centre’s educators vary in their ages and backgrounds, all bringing something very special and unique to the team. Inside, all of the rooms - from Nursery to Kindergarten/Preschool - are set up in line with an Early Years Learning Framework, with sensory and play-based learning opportunities.

Colourful, stimulating surrounds ensure the children have the chance to grow and develop through sensory, play-based learning and Goodstart is focused on ensuring the children are ready to take that all important step up to school.

The centre’s Storypark platform, as well as regular family nights and emailed newsletters, enable staff to stay in close contact with parents and families, ensuring open and clear communication.

This also means the Goodstart Yarrawonga team can tailor each program to the child’s individual needs, interests and strengths – as well as the strong level of cultural diversity in the centre.

Outside, there are age appropriate play spaces and equipment, all geared to enhance the children’s awareness of their surrounds and the greater environment, as well as their understanding of the importance of sustainability.

The centre’s three areas have veggie patches with worm farms and compost, slides, beams, climbing fixtures, a wooden boat, sandpits, fruit trees and lots of shade and space to run. All meals are prepared on site by a qualified cook who uses tasty, fresh and nutritional ingredients – just the thing to keep hungry tummies satisfied.

Goodstart Yarrawonga prides itself on fantastic relationships between staff, families, children and the local community.

It is the centre’s aim to provide children with exciting and imaginative learning programs that cover a range of areas, working across the entire Early Learning Years Framework. A major focus for the centre is how working with the broader community can help our staff enrich the children’s learning experience.

Art and music experiences – as well as other extra-curricular activities - are provided on a daily basis, allowing the children to freely express their creativity.

The team at Goodstart Yarrawonga looks forward to meeting you and discussing how we can support you and your family through the early learning journey.

Hands on learning at Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre.
