Encouraging and embracing growth

Yarrawonga Chronicle - - Editorial -

News this week of the planned sale of prime land to the east of Yarrawonga is further evidence of the town’s positive growth potential.

The changing shape of Yarrawonga sees development pushing toward the east, with the new medical centre and industrial development already drawing business to that side of town.

The availability of more land, zoned for residential development, provides an exciting opportunity to continue that growth.

The excitement and attraction of new development is beneficial in enticing new people – young people, families and retirees – to settle locally.

With that comes the potential for new businesses and employment and greater opportunities.

The changing shape of Yarrawonga is something to be embraced and encouraged as our community continues to grow and offer more and more to all who are welcome to be part of it.
