A large crowd of competitors attended the Dogs Victoria Championship show at the Yarrawonga Showgrounds as part of the ClubMulwala Yarrawonga Mulwala Agricultural Show’s Friday events.

The weather held out for the day although being a bit windy, but that did nothing to stop the competition in its tracks.

The event hosted by the Yarrawonga & Border Agricultural and Pastoral Association in affiliation with the Victorian Canine Association, was held on Friday due to Saturday’s schedule being jam-packed and therefore giving the pooches their own moment to shine.

Dogs of all shapes and sizes entered in the plethora of competitions including Toy, Terrier, Gundog, Hound, Working Dog, Utility and Non-Sporting groups with a variety of prizes up for grabs.

Organisers and judges were pleased with the amount of entries and competitors and hope to see the event even bigger and better next year.

Best Minor Puppy in Group winner Juno (Kombukah Drops of Jupiter) with owner Donna Ryan.
