This week the Yar­ra­wonga Chron­i­cle in­tro­duces our read­ers to the first two of a group of wor­thy com­mu­nity re­cip­i­ents cho­sen to carry the 2018 Com­mon­wealth Games Queen’s Ba­ton.

Ap­prox­i­mately 3800 Aus­tralians will carry the Queen’s Ba­ton on its 100-day jour­ney across the na­tion in the lead up to the games, with the torch to visit Yar­ra­wonga on Fe­bru­ary 15, 2018.
