Judds to fix flood damaged roads
Judd & Sons P/L Yarrawonga have been awarded the contract to carry out repairs to a large number of formed and gravel payments caused by floods in August 2016 throughout Federation Council area.
Federation Council obtained State Government funding to fix up the damaged roads. Council will be reimbursed its actual costs but is unable to carry out the work using its own workforce due to restrictions in the funding deed.
Six tenders were received following advertising in October.
The successful tenderer’s Matthew Judd said the minor repairs on unsealed rural roads were throughout the Federation Council area but “predominantly from Corowa to Morundah”. The $M1.88 works will be undertaken in 2018.
