This year saw 90 local residents and guests of all ages enjoy good food and social time together.

Christine, in accepting the cheque, thanked the Lions Club for their thoughtfulness and generosity.

After breakfast local piper Graeme Stewart played the National Anthem (on his newly purchased set of blackwood pipes), whilst two long-time residents, June Gorman and Janet Gorman, together raised the Australian flag. Graeme also played a selection of Australian and Scottish songs, to the enjoyment of the crowd.

Many local residents, former residents, friends and family as well as guests from Japan participated in the gathering.
