Juniors dominate the tables

Yarrawonga Chronicle - - Classies -

The young players took home all the winnings of snooker last week.

Our youngest member Seth Edwards won on Monday night April 16 and a new junior player Damien Thorpe won on Wednesday night April 18.

Hopefully this will encourage other juniors to step up and try snooker as an alternative sport. Congratulations to the two of them and hopefully they have more wins coming their way.

Runner up both nights was Barry Jackson who has been in form lately but bridesmaid three nights running now.

Diggers Challenge: April 9: Winner D. McKernan, Runner up D. Edwards.

Cash Night: April 16. Winner S. Edwards, Runner up, B. Jackson.

Social Nights: April 11. Winner D. McKernan, Runner up B. Jackson.

April 18. Winner D. Thorpe, Runner up B. Jackson.

Congratulations must go to Adrian Ridley who did win his “one” game in the World Championships in England last week against World Champion Graham Dott.

Adrian is now back home again working to pay for his incredible experience.

Wednesday night everyone is welcome so come along for a game.

Names down by 7pm.

Seth Edwards and Damien Thorpe have both been playing fantastic snooker in recent weeks.
