If you love water and catch­ing fish get ready to catch some­thing ex­cit­ing at the 21st An­nual ClubMul­wala Mer­cury Clas­sic Fish­ing Com­pe­ti­tion.

The an­nual event, hosted by the Lake Mul­wala Angling Club, has be­come a wel­come fix­ture on the fish­ing tour­na­ment cal­en­dar and raises funds for the club to in­vest back into the fu­ture of fish­ing through the NSW Depart­ment of Primary In­dus­tries dol­lar-match­ing, fin­ger­lings pro­gram.

The com­pe­ti­tion is held on April 28 and 29, from the Yar­ra­wonga Row­ing Cub in Botts Road.

More than $30,000 in prizes are up for grabs with $500 worth of tackle to be won for the early­bird win­ner.

The com­pe­ti­tion wel­comes adults, ju­niors and fam­ily en­tries.

The Lake Mul­wala Angling Club would like to thank ma­jor spon­sors ClubMul­wala, Moira Shire, Leigh Mar­tin Ma­rine, In­tents fish­ing and out­doors, gang­ster lures and Vo­dusek Meats.

The club can email or post en­try forms out to you or make your way down to the Row­ing Club in Yar­ra­wonga on Fri­day, April 27 be­tween 4 and 8pm to reg­is­ter.
