Nominations for this year’s business awards close next Tuesday, May 15 and businesses which have already nominated themselves encourage every business throughout the Federation Council area to seriously consider nominating themselves, then enter.

“Business Awards are a fabulous opportunity for businesses to stand back, take a look at their day to day running, the ever changing wider commercial picture, the vision they send to the public, opportunities for new skills, and ways to extend their market and refresh themselves,” Corowa Business Chamber Secretary Kay Fredericks told the Yarrawonga Chronicle.

“We all fall into habit and routine, get a bit stale and jaded and so this is an opportunity to refresh and reinvigorate and celebrate.”

Chamber President Mary Hetherington reminds businesses it is free to enter and that businesses must nominate themselves.

“There are 10 categories and the more nominations, the more spectacular the gala awards dinner will be,” she said.

“We believe that the awards will provide the opportunity for all businesses to showcase their achievements and to celebrate business excellence in our community.

“All winners of the awards will have the opportunity to progress to the NSW Chamber Regional Awards and if successful at that level can progress to the NSW Chamber State awards.

“We are confident in the caliber of our local business community to be potentially recognized at these levels.

“It is a great opportunity for businesses to showcase themselves. There’s plenty to be gained by entering - promoting your business and the winning applicants having the chance to enter the NSW Business Chamber Regional State Awards.
