Rennie 38 defeated Katamatite 37 Back to basics and keeping possession was the focus for the match, and the girls did just that.

Jedda Nolen and Tayla Mollison back in the side, added needed strength and experience.

These girls combining with Nat Harris and Hayley Bigger saw the attack end able to combine well and convert opportunit­ies created in defence.

Paula Mifka shot 32 of the teams 38 goal total.

Chelsea Beavis played a phenomenal game, earning best on court.

Tessa Sexton and Chelsea dominated the defense end, with strength, poise and overall pressure in the ring.

This led to a close match and overall win for the team.

Learning during the match and adapting well saw the team take the 4 points and keep finals hopes alive.
