Zoologist Chris Humfrey is again bringing his animal family to the Yarrawonga Mulwala Agricultural Show on Saturday October 6 for families to experience the animals first-hand as part of the Wild Action Zoo.

Everyone can enjoy the opportunity to get up close and personal with animals including a koala, laughing kookaburra, joey kangaroo, echidna, fruit bats, dingo, behemoth python snake, kissable frogs, adorable possums, salt water crocodiles and eye -licking leaf-tailed geckoes plus many more.

The family-friendly live show will feature throughout the day, allowing the audience to interact with the native wildlife as the ‘Zoo Comes To You’.

Zoologist Chris and his dedicated team of trained zoologists and teachers ensure kids of all ages have a fun, educational and unbeatable interactive wildlife experience.

Chris’s company Wild Action is a multi-award winning mobile education company.

Wild Action teaches more than 250,000 school children a year about Australia’s amazing biodiversity.

His passion for kids and environmental education has led him to open his own private zoo for ‘hands-on’ zoo- keeper training days for kids.

Chris appears regularly in the Herald Sun, on Melbourne radio and on TV appearing on ABC’s Studio Three and Channel Nine TV show Kids WB showcasing and teaching kids about some of Australia’s wildest animals.

Chris’ quirky hands-on educational format has proved very successful and for the past 21 years the program has been the leading incursion supplier of environmental education lessons in Victoria.

What makes this show unique is that Chris has a passion for travelling to wild and remote places as that’s where he finds the most animals and has time to witness and learn more himself about each of the creatures.

A distinctive feature of his zoo compared to ordinary zoos is that the Wild Action Zoo proudly breeds many rare and endangered species.

What is even more unique is that Chris’ zoo houses many animals that are native to Australia. His collection consists of more than 2000 native Australian animals including Little Penguin, Koalas, Quolls, Snakes, Wedge-Tailed Eagles, Cassowaries, and even Blue-Ringed Octopus.

Make sure you don’t miss out on seeing Chris Humfrey and his Zoo Come To You at the ClubMulwala Yarrawonga Mulwala Agricultural Show on Saturday October 6.
