Traf­fic will be re­duced to a sin­gle lane on Bel­more Street, be­tween McNally Street and Mur­ray Val­ley High­way to­day, Wed­nes­day, Oc­to­ber 10, due to works.

Spray seal patch­ing to re­pair cracked sec­tions of the road will be car­ried out be­tween 7am and 5pm.

Traf­fic man­age­ment will be in place and speed will be set at 40km/h, with de­lays up to 10 min­utes ex­pected.

Ute stolen and dumped

A sil­ver Holden util­ity was stolen from a Wilby ad­dress dur­ing the night on Oc­to­ber 4. Of­fender/s have used the ve­hi­cle to do burnouts in the area be­fore later dump­ing the ve­hi­cle in a pad­dock. The ve­hi­cle has been lo­cated and po­lice are in­ves­ti­gat­ing. Wilby break-in

A bur­glary oc­curred at a ru­ral prop­erty in Wilby where of­fender/s used phys­i­cal force to gain en­try into a shed through a roller door overnight on Oc­to­ber 3 and 4. Once in­side hand tools and some al­co­hol where stolen.

Rego plate stolen

A rear regis­tra­tion plate was stolen from a mo­tor ve­hi­cle in Rose­mary Court where of­fender/s un­screwed the plate off the ve­hi­cle that was parked on the street overnight some­time be­tween Septem­ber 30 and Oc­to­ber 2.
